Our Modern Views Project is all about modern living set right into the red rocks of Southern Utah. This home was designed to feel effortlessly connected to its surroundings, using natural materials and clean lines to create a space that feels both elevated and grounded. Warm wood tones, natural stone, and soft neutral finishes flow throughout the home, bringing in a sense of calm and continuity from room to room. Designing With landscape in Mind

From the beginning, it was important to design this home with its surroundings in mind. Set within the red rocks of Southern Utah, the goal was to create a space that felt connected to the landscape rather than competing with it. Natural tones and organic materials were layered throughout the home, paired with clean, modern lines that allow the architecture to stand out while still complementing the beauty of the environment. The result is a design that feels intentional, balanced, and deeply rooted in its setting—modern, yet softened by nature.

The Great Room

The great room is the heart of the home and the first thing you see when you enter the home, it's designed to feel open, grounded, and effortlessly inviting. Warm wood ceilings draw the eye upward while expansive windows frame the red rock views beyond, filling the space with natural light throughout the day. Soft, neutral furnishings and layered textures keep the room feeling relaxed, while clean lines and thoughtful details maintain a refined, modern edge. It’s a space meant for gathering; comfortable enough for everyday living, yet elevated enough to feel special.

The Staircase

More than just a transition, the staircase acts as a sculptural moment within the home. Natural materials and simple forms keep it visually light, allowing it to blend seamlessly with the surrounding architecture. As light filters through the space, the staircase becomes a subtle focal point; connecting levels while maintaining the home’s calm, cohesive flow.

The Kitchen & Dining

The kitchen was designed to feel both refined and welcoming—an effortless blend of modern design and natural warmth. Clean-lined cabinetry is balanced with warm wood tones and subtle textures, creating a space that feels elevated without being overly formal. Thoughtful details and a neutral palette keep the focus on simplicity, while the open layout allows the kitchen to flow seamlessly into the surrounding living spaces.

The Primary Suite

The primary bedroom was designed as a true retreat. Soft textures, warm wood tones, and a neutral palette create a peaceful atmosphere that feels instantly calming. Large windows invite the landscape in, making the views part of the experience, while minimal styling keeps the focus on rest and relaxation. The result is a space that feels luxurious without being overdone; quiet, comfortable, and deeply restorative.
Featuring the Siesta Chaise Lounge from Regina Andrew, this piece truly feels like the finishing touch to the room. With its sculptural form and inviting silhouette, it brings both comfort and sophistication into the space. The chaise adds a layer of softness that balances the clean lines found throughout the home, while its timeless design keeps the room feeling elevated and intentional. It’s the kind of piece that draws you in—effortless, beautiful, and undeniably special—making it a standout element and a true favorite in the space.

Primary Bathroom

The primary bathroom blends spa-like calm with modern sophistication. Stone surfaces, warm wood accents, and clean-lined fixtures work together to create a space that feels both functional and indulgent. Natural light softens the room, highlighting the textures and finishes while reinforcing a sense of quiet luxury.

Media Room

Designed for both relaxation and entertainment, the media room offers a cozy contrast to the home’s more open spaces. Deeper tones and plush textures create an intimate atmosphere, making it the perfect place to unwind. While the mood is more relaxed, the design remains intentional; modern, comfortable, and aligned with the home’s overall aesthetic.
